Baazaar boasts of a powerful narrative and Chitrangda's role is quite intimidating and of a strong-headed woman. She is an independent woman, a responsible mother and a perfect anchor to her husband.
Talking about her experience, the actor says, "Baazaar for me was a quick decision. I loved the character Mandira completely as she is both, responsible and lovable. Her character is absolutely important to keep the story flowing in order and is sure to keep everybody hooked/thinking."
