The first in the row is Reema Kagti's "Honeymoon Travels Pvt Ltd" in which Boman plays Oscar Fernandes, a 50-year-old Catholic man married to Shabana Azmi.
"It's a romantic comedy. All the characters are different and amazingly etched out. I play this nice teddy bear kind of a character. He is joyous but there's also a tinge of sadness in him. He has his own back-story."
"Honeymoon Travels Pvt Ltd" is about six couples who are on a package honeymoon to Goa. Apart from Boman-Shabana, Arjun Rampal-Dia Mirza, Kay Kay Menon-Raima Sen, Karan Khanna-Amisha Patel, Abhay Deol-Minissha Lamba and Sandhya Mridul-Vikram Chatwal will be seen in it.
"It tackles loads of issues in its own sweet little way. It's funny sometimes; it's sensitive at times. It makes you realise the fact that when you start loving someone, you realise who you really are. It's a charming film with a wonderful bunch of actors," said Boman.
Then, in Vidhu Vinod Chopra's "Eklavya" Boman will be seen in one of the most complex roles.
Even this one has an ensemble star cast including Amitabh Bachchan, Sharmila Tagore, Sanjay Dutt, Jackie Shroff, Saif Ali Khan, Jimmy Shergill and Vidya Balan.
"I play King Rana whose back-story is very complex. His actions and inactions are based on his back-story. He can be cruel and kind also. It's difficult to figure him out," said Boman.
"I'm glad being a part of diverse films with ensemble casts. For example 'Honeymoon...' family is different from 'Eklavya' family. I am lucky to be an integral part of so many families."
His other upcoming films are Vivek Agnihotri's "Goal" and debutant Vivek Aggarwal's "I See You".
