Emraan Hashmi is coming early to 'Cheat India'!

Emraan Hashmi's fans have a reason to rejoice, as the makers of his next film have preponed the release date.

'Cheat India' will now release on January 18, as opposed to January 25, 2019.

Sharing the details about the new release date, Emraan took to social media and wrote, "I cheated !! My film #Cheatindia will release one week earlier.. 18th jan 2019 !! See you in the theatres".



The trailer of the movie introduced the viewers to Emraan in a never-seen-before avatar. With parted hair and moustache, he plays the role of a middleman taking care of all the arrangements for the discrepancies in the system.

The movie focuses on the issue of granting fake certificates to undeserving candidates for a bribe. Emraan fraudulently gets students into engineering and management colleges and has a whole team of people who write for other candidates, and in the end, everyone gets what they want.

Apart from Emraan, the film also stars Shreya Dhanwanthary in the lead role.

Cheat India is written and directed By Soumik Sen, Produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Tanuj Garg, Atul Kasbekar & Parveen Hashmi. Co-Producers are Vinod Bhanushali, Sunny Khanna, Shanti Sivaram Maini, Swati Iyer Chawla, Piya Sawhney.
