Farhan Akhtar along with other singers and artists performed for at the Bandra Fort for MARD which stands for Men Against Rape and Discrimination which was launched by Farhan in 2013 and the campaign aims to raise social awareness against rape and discrimination of women. The actor has always tried and done his bit to help and contribute to society.
Farhan finished the concert and straight away headed to the airport and flew to Boston for the MIT conference, of India in Cambridge. The theme for the 2019's conference is "India's Competitive Edge" and the actor has been invited as a Keynote speaker for the conference. The conference is scheduled for the 16th February where he would be addressing Gender-based Inequality and violence through cinema.
