Wednesday night witnessed Bollywood's leading lady Deepika Padukone receiving back to back two awards for the amazing year that she had.

The actress received the Iconic performer of the year award at the sixth edition of Lokmat Maharashtrian of the Year Awards 2019 and Woman of the year award at Femina Beauty awards 2019 held in Mumbai.

Deepika Padukone attended two award ceremonies in the single night looking gorgeous as ever in both her appearances. For her first appearance, the actress was seen donning a gorgeous white sari with chikankari work all over it. Deepika teamed it up with a with a gold blouse. The actress styled her hair in a neat low bun and her brown lips complemented her look perfectly.

And for the second appearance, Deepika opted for a sultry black gown with a plunging neckline and bareback. The actress accessorized her outfit with a pair of dangler earring and her gold and nude makeup made her look even more radiant.

2018 has been a great year for Deepika Padukone, considering she won applause for her performance in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Padmaavat as well as the film emerged as a box office hit ranking in over 300 crores. The actress made dazzling appearances on the global front as she stunned the onlookers at the Met Gala and Cannes Film Festival. And finally closing the year with what can be the grandest wedding ever, Deepika Padukone is definitely the biggest newsmaker of 2018.


Deepika Padukone also reclaimed her status as the 'Sexiest Asian Woman'. Second time in three years Deepika bagged the title published by UK based newspaper, 'Eastern Eye'.

Termed as the Queen of 100 crores club, Deepika Padukone holds the most number of 7 100 crores films, while her recent outing Padmavat clocking 300 crores at the box office. With this Deepika was titled the first actress to have entered the 300 crore club with a woman led film.

Deepika commands the title of being of being the most commercially viable actress in the industry, in addition to being the highest paid actress.
