Superstar Mahesh Babu's upcoming film Maharshi, directed by Vamshi Paidipally, will have a worldwide release on April 25.

Maharshi which marks Mahesh Babu's 25th film is in the final stage of it's shooting. This big budgeted film is being produced by Sri Venkateshwara Creations, Vyjayanthi Movies, PVP Cinema. 'Maharshi' marks 25th film of superstar Mahesh Babu.

Except for two songs shoot of entire film to be completed by March 15th. The film is undergoing its post-production works on a brisk pace.

The makers of the film tweeted about the news too and wrote, "An update about #Maharshi...

The makers of the film owing to the superstar's fan following released a small teaser of the film on his birthday.


Superstar Mahesh Babu enjoys an immense fan following not only in the South Indian film industry but is also a household name worldwide.

Considering the unfathomable fanbase of Mahesh Babu, Maharshi has also generated immense buzz amongst the audience across the nation.

Mahesh Babu will be paired with Pooja Hegde for the first time while Allari Naresh will be seen playing a pivotal part in the film. 'Maharshi' is being made on high technical values with huge star cast involved.

Mahesh Babu, who was last seen in critically acclaimed Bharat Ane Nenu, is currently making Maharshi with director Vamsi Paidipally. A good chunk of the film was recently shot in the US, for which Mahesh Babu was accompanied by his wife Namrata and children Gautham and Sitara.

Baharat Ane Nenu was a political drama featuring Mahesh Babu playing the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh. The film focuses on Mahesh Babu's character showcasing the journey of a young graduate taking on the state to fight for the rights of his people.

The first poster and the teaser of the Maharshi released on Mahesh Babu's birthday in August. the film is slated for release in April 2019.
