Don`t strike the panic button on hearing this...our Comedy King Govinda isn`t going anywhere, he`s still very much our `Bollywood ka Raja`. It`s just that off late rumours doing the rounds is that Chi Chi is trying to re-work on his `comedy king` image and wants to venture in to those emotional sob-sob family dramas...or shall we say melodrama.

Apparently he has bought the story rights of a Telugu film that had created amazing records in the South last year. In fact he`s gone to the extent of signing the director of the original version to direct the Hindi version. He has no plans of producing it so far...or probably he just doesn`t reveal. Well we don`t know how the audiences will react to this news, sure all Chi-Chi die-hard fans will be humour starved for a while then...but knowing Govinda, sure there will always be something to laugh about!
