The period drama has collected around ₹ 78.07 crores so far. Indian film critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to his Twitter handle to share the box office collection of the film.
He wrote, "#Kesari puts up an impressive total... North circuits are superb... While the 4-day total is good, the biz on Sat and Sun should've been higher, since the word of mouth is excellent... Thu 21.06 cr, Fri 16.75 cr, Sat 18.75 cr, Sun 21.51 cr. Total: ₹ 78.07 cr. India biz."

The film had a spectacular opening on the occasion of Holi. 'Kesari' earned Rs. 21.06 crore on its first day, making it the biggest opener of the year so far. The war drama has earned rave reviews from critics and the audience alike. The film earned Rs. 16.75 crore on its second day, and minted Rs. 18.75 crore on its third day.
'Kesari', also starring Parineeti Chopra, is based on the 1897 Battle of Saragarhi, where an army of 21 Sikhs fought against 10,000 Afghans. Akshay will be seen essaying the role of Havildar Ishar Singh.
The film, which is directed by Anurag Singh, hit the theatres on March 21, giving fans a perfect Holi gift.
