Talented singer Shankar Mahadevan has recorded a song for Raj Thackeray at the Swaranjali Studio in
Andheri for his election campaign.
In collaboration with Shaan and Kunal Ganjawala, the song outlines the election tunes and calls for change
in guard for Mumbai.
Well-known Marathi music director duo Atul-Ajay composed the music and Wagshish Saraswat penned
down the lyrics.
This is yet another special note for the singer who forms one third of the hugely popular trio
Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy and has had a fruitful 2006 with films like "Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna" and
"Don".
The trio had couple of big banner films ready for release this year as well, starting with "Salaam-e-Ishq". Its
songs are already topping the charts. Others in the pipeline are "Jhoom Barabar Jhoom" and "Hey
Baby".
Well, looks like 2007 will be yet another big musical year!
