Moviegoers have to wait a little longer to watch Sharmin Segal and Meezaan Jaaferi starrer 'Malaal', as now the film will hit theatres on July 5, a few days later than the original date, June 28.

Trade Analyst Taran Adarsh shared the news on social media and wrote,

"New release date... #Malaal will now release on 5 July 2019... Sanjay Leela Bhansali introduces Sharmin Segal and Meezaan in the film... Directed by Mangesh Hadawale."

The film introduces Sanjay Leela Bhansali's niece Sharmin and Meezaan, the son of actor Jaaved Jaaferi.

The trailer of the film which was released a week ago depicts how an intense love story of Sharmin and Meezaan takes a tragic turn.

Helmed by Mangesh Hadawale the film is produced by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Bhushan Kumar, Mahaveer Jain, and Krishan Kumar.
