Item Bomb or Atom Bomb?

Item Bomb or Atom Bomb?
They say, 'Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned'. Recently, newbie Sherlyn Chopra did a foot-tapping number "Lut Le Gaya" in Raj Kanwar's 'Raqeeb – Rivals in Love', which made a journo ask her how it was to be touted as the new 'item bomb'. "I am an atom bomb, not an item bomb," the spunky actress shot back.

When reminded that the song still was an 'item number', Sherlyn suddenly became sarcastic to the hilt.

"Okay, have it your way... If Aishwarya Rai ('Bunty Aur Babli' and 'Shakti'), Rekha ('Parineeta'), Urmila Matondkar ('China Gate'), Lara Dutta ('Khakee' ), Rani Mukherjee ('Mann'), Shilpa Shetty ('Shool'), Sushmita Sen ('Fiza') and Kareena Kapoor ('Don') are item girls, then I am also one," quipped Sherlyn raising her eyebrows.

Chill girl! After all, an item number is just a term commonly used to describe a catchy, upbeat dance song in a movie that has no relevance to the plot of the film.
