The shooting of the much-awaited Varun Dhawan and Sara Ali Khan starrer `Coolie No 1` begins in Bangkok today. The remake marks the first Varun and Sara will be sharing screen space, and their fans are already excited to see this collaboration on the big screen.


The expectations are invariably high from this project. The inaugural pictures from the shoot show the reliance on the power of prayer as Varun Dhawan's mom, Karuna Dhawan, is shown holding the clapperboard as she showers her blessings and love for both Varun and David Dhawan; wishing them good luck for this massive blockbuster.

Directed by David Dhawan and produced by Vashu Bhagnani, Jackky Bhagnani & Deepshikha Deshmukh, the film is scheduled for May 1, 2020 release.
