While expressing his happiness over the same fact, Anand Kumar shares, "I had long discussions [with the makers] as I wanted the truth to come out. And that's why the script was changed and improved several times. Ultimately, the truth has been shown but they also had the liberty to make an entertaining, commercial film. So, there are certain commercial angles in the film to make it funny and interesting`.

Super 30 is based on the life of Patna-based mathematician and educationist, Anand Kumar.
