The film 'Heyy Babyy!', in which popular television host Sajid Khan makes his debut as director, is being produced by Sajid Nadiadwala.
Featuring five of India's biggest stars, the production will showcase Sydney and its various iconic locations to a potential worldwide audience of millions on its international release on an estimated 1000 prints in June this year, Sajid Nadiadwala said.
''New South Wales has everything you need to make such a big-scale film. It's a very film friendly state,'' he said.
Heyy Babyy! also features 20 of India's top actresses in cameo performances in a special song and dance sequence and will use an Australian girl band for a music video to be shot and recorded in Sydney.
''This is a rare film in that it actually shows Sydney as Sydney.
Bringing the production to the city is the result of various initiatives by the New South Wales government, including the NSW Film and Television Office, and I thank them for their support,'' said Australian Line Producer and Chairman of Australia India Film Council Anupam Sharma.
According to a spokesman of the Council, filming in Sydney for four to five week will inject more than two million dollars into the economy of the New South Wales.
The film is hiring more than 450 Australian cast and crew through its Australian line production company films and casting TEMPLE based at Fox Studios.
