Kim Sharma looked a bit uncomfortable at the mahurat of Akbar Khan`s Taj Mahal: The Eternal Love Story. Dressed in a heavily ornate costume, with infinite pins holding the wig, she was wreathing in pain. "Plus the wig is making my scalp itch," Kim complained. Kim has an unusual role in Akbar Khan`s film.

"What`s exciting is for the first time I`m getting an opportunity to do a historical," she informed. Though Kim had a Mohabbatein to boast off, she hardly had any films in hand. And the few that she had signed she was walking out of. "I`m being choosy," Kim replied. "I want to do roles with substance. The length does not matter." But don`t all newcomers say this! And they land up being just another extra in films. Tsk,tsk!!
