The 'Dhadak' debutante is all shoot for the stars in the first look of 'Kargil Girl'. Jhanvi Kapoor will be shouldering the responsibility of playing Gunjan Saxena, the first woman IAF pilot. She was the first woman pilot to fly in a combat zone, coming to the rescue of the soldiers during the Kargil War; along with the fellow lieutenant Srividya Rajan.

The makers shared the first look posters on social media and wrote, "She created her own turf in a man's world with unparalleled bravery & courage. Gunjan Saxena - #TheKargilGirl, releasing on 13th March, 2020."

In the poster, Janhvi looks forward to breaking the patriarchal chains with her conviction and upbeat attitude.

'Kargil Girl' is directed by Sharan Sharma and produced by Karan Johar under Dharma Productions. It also stars Pankaj Tripathi and Nina Gupta as her parents, while Angad Bedi will portray the brother to Janhvi's character. Other casting includes Manav Vij, Vineet Kumar Singh, Vijay Verma, Manu Rishi, Harsh Chhaya, and Rajat Barmecha.

'Kargil Girl' will be released on March 13, 2020.
