Ali Fazal To Star Alongside Gal Gadot in Kenneth Branagh's 'Death on the Nile'

The 'Mirzapur' actor is one of those rare Bollywood actors to have worked in various international projects. Fazal appeared in a cameo in the 'Fast 7', later going on to star in Stephen Frear's 'Victoria &Abdul.' Fazal played Abdul, a trusted confidante to Queen Victoria.

Through his official Instagram account, Fasal has reported that he has boarded the train for Kenneth Branagh's upcoming project 'Death on the Nile.' This Agatha Christie adaptation will be the second one for Brannagh who previously made 'Murder on the Orient Express.' Fazal expressed his joy and gratitude on becoming the part of the project and has praised the director for his mastery over the craft.



Fazal is has been locked in to play a crucial part in the movie and will be seen sharing screen with Gal Gadot. Gadot, however, isn't the only big name as the impressive cast boasts the likes of Armie Hammer, Annette Bening, Letitia Wright, Russel Brand, Tom Bateman and Branagh himself as the astute detective Hercule Poirot.

Kenneth Branagh will be directing from a screenplay by Micheal Green. 'Death on the Nile' is expected to arrive in the theatres on October 9, 2020.
