Abhishek Bachchan settled for a quite birthday on the sets of Drona in Bikaner with his parents this year. Papa Bachchan and family friend Amar Singh (without fiancée Aishwarya Rai, though) had flown down on a chartered flight to ring in beta's birthday on Sunday evening.

We hear that Senior Bachchan carried goodies that included a fancy birthday cake. The revelry held in the Kuchaman City fort included a multiple-course dinner prepared by professional cooks brought in by the producers. The entire unit of approximately 300 people were treated by the Bachchans.

Says a unit member, "Amitji and Amar Singh joined us in the evening. We're shooting in the middle of a desert and couldn't have arranged for a better birthday dinner. We had a cake too. The entire unit was a part of the traditional dinner."

Abhishek after a heavy meal along with Priyanka Chopra and Kay Kay Menon, shot all night. It was only in the morning that he flew down to Mumbai with his parents. Junior Bachchan then headed for Leelavati Hospital to seek the blessings of his ailing grandmom Teji.

Later, he was joined by Aishwarya. However, the couple didn't have much time to themselves as Ash headed to Paris for a L'Oreal photo shoot the cast and crew of Drona gifted Abhishek a memento with personalised birthday wishes et al.

The biggest gift of course came from proud papa Bachchan, who handed over the keys of a brand new Bentley (pegged at Rs 2 crore) to him
