Last night in Mumbai was lit up with the stars stepping down on earth of IIFA 2019. Celebrating IIFA's 20th anniversary, this time it was special as for the first in its history IIFA was organised in the city of dreams, Mumbai.
The 20th IIFA awards became much more special for the voice of Punjab, Harshdeep Kaur as she managed to bag the Best Female Playback Singer award for her song 'Dilbaro' from Meghna Gulzar's spy thriller 'Raazi'. Harshdeep, who has sung many hits like, Kabira, Zaalima, and Katiya Karoon, shared her happiness with her fans and admirers on Instagram with a winning selfie and the award. Take a look -
The Best Actress award also went to Alia Bhatt for playing Sehmat Khan in 'Raazi' and the Best Actor award was given to Ranveer Singh for portraying the role of Alauddin Khilji in 'Padmaavat'.
Raazi, directed by Meghna Gulzar starred Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal in lead roles. The film was produced by Vineet Jain, Karan Johar, and Apoorva Mehta.
