The most awaited Punjabi film of the year ''Nikka Zaildar 3'' is finally out and it is hilarious. Fans have been waiting for Nikka all this time and the film proves itself worthy of that.

'Nikka Zaildar 3' is the third installment of the film series and Nikka is here once again to make you laugh. Ammy Virk is back as Nikka on screen and this time along with Wamiqa Gabbi, he is joined by  Sonia Kour too. This one is also a love triangle like the previous films but the story doesn't pick up from where Nikka left it the last time, this one is set in a different backdrop.

Director Simerjit Singh handles everything well and the film is just hilarious in every frame, every character is at their best here, specially Nikka, who just takes the madness to another level in this one, and his love interest Pallo (Wamiqa Gabbi) plays an important role in bringing this madness out, who is brilliant in her character.

Sardar Sohi plays Nikka's grandfather 'Bhaag Singh', a miserly landlord who has no dearth of money but doesn't want to spend that on his family and their needs.

Bhaag Singh makes the men of the family work like bonded labour, he is very strict and no one in his family dares to speak anything against him or oppose any of his decisions.

On the other hand, Nikka is completely opposite of his miser grandfather. He is straight forward and doesn't believe in accumulating money if you can't spend it in need.

Luckily for everyone, one fine day, Bhaag Singh is robbed and because of that he dies in shock.

And then begins the real story of this fun-filled ride called ''Nikka Zaildar 3''. After Bhaag Singh's death, his family members spend a lot of money on his last rites and due to that, Bhaag Singh's spirit gets angry. comes back and possesses Nikka's body to confront the family for spending his hard-earned money.

This proves beneficial for Nikka as he just gets whatever he wants and whenever he wants and is enjoying all that. But at the same time, he suffers along too as his family keeps taking Nikka to different 'Tantriks' and 'Babas' one after the other which turns out to be a humorous journey for the audience.

In between all this, Nikka's love interest Pallo rejects him for he is possessed by a spirit, post which Nikka once again falls in love and this time it turns out to be even crazier.

The storyline is just mindless and senseless comedy that you won't find any logic in, but in the garb of that, the film targets the superstition of going to Babas and Tantriks pointing out that it just makes things worse.

'Nikka Zaildar 3' completely belongs to Ammy Virk who outperforms himself in this one. Wamiqa Gabbi as the poetry filled Pallo does a good job and Sonia Kour's performance is acceptable too. All the other actors have done a fair job in their respective roles and the music of the film also decently enjoyable.

Simerjit Singh's direction is fairly good but the thing you might not like is the climax which just takes all the fun away with it.

Still, 'Nikka Zaildar 3' is another one of Ammy Virk's remarkable performances and deserves a watch for its humorous take on superstitions.
