Punjabi Gabruu Gippy Grewal, recently helped Aamir Khan when the superstar landed in Punjab for the shoot of his upcoming film 'Lal Singh Chaddha' which is the official remake of the Hollywood film 'Forrest Gump'.
According to sources, Gippy helped Aamir in finding some suitable locations in Punjab for his film and also assigned his close friends Rana Ranbir and Ardaas Khan to help with the Punjabi dialogues in the film's screenplay.
But not just all this, Gippy Grewal is also a big fan of Aamir Khan, who will be seen portraying the role of a Sikh in 'Lal Singh Chaddha', so Gippy also gifted a 'Kada' to Aamir as a token of good luck for his role.
Aamir thanked Gippy for this kind gesture and promised the singer/actor that he will be sporting the kada in the film. Directed by Advait Chandan, Lal Singh Chaddha stars Aamir Khan and Kareena Kapoor in lead roles. The film is scheduled to release on Christmas 2020.
Gippy Grewal, on the other hand, will be seen sharing the screen with Zareen Khan in his upcoming Punjabi thriller titled 'Daaka' directed by Baljit Singh Deo. The film is slated for a release on November 1st.
