`Mardaani 2` is a sequel to the 2014 film `Mardaani`, in which Rani Mukerji was seen playing the role of Senior Inspector `Shivani Shivaji Roy`. The film was directed by Pradeep Sarkar whereas `Mardaani 2`, is directed by Gopi Putharan.

Apart from Rani Mukerji, Vikram Singh Chauhan, Shruti Bapna, Rajesh Sharma and Sudhanshu Pandey will also be seen in important roles in the film. Produced by Aditya Chopra, Mardaani 2 will be released on December 13th.
