The movie is the directorial debut of veteran actor Seema Pahwa, recently seen in supporting roles in "Bareilly Ki Barfi" and "Arjun Patiala." The movie has is an official election for "Spotlight" section at the upcoming Mumbai International Film Festival.

Based on a story Pahwa wrote, the movie revolves around the Bhargava family, who come together for a funeral but stay back for each other. The stars Konkona Sen Sharma, Vikrant Massey, Vinay Pathak, Supriya Pathak, Manoj Pahwa, and Naseeruddin Shah.
