Taapsee Pannu is one of the most sought after female stars of Bollywood today and her career is also on the rise after delivering films like 'Pink' , 'Mulk' and 'Badla'. 

Taapsee Pannu, who has earlier worked with director Anubhav Sinha in the critically acclaimed film 'Mulk', is playing the lead role in Anubhav's next women-centric film titled 'Thappad'. The shooting of the film was recently wrapped up and Bhushan Kumar, the producer of the film shared the news with us with a pic from the sets -

Thappad is produced by Bhushan Kumar and Anhubhav Sinha and the film is scheduled to release next year on March 6th.

Taapsee will soon be back on the silver screen with Bhumi Pednekar in Tushar Hiranandani's upcoming drama film 'Saand Ki Aankh' where she is playing one of the famous shooter sisters of 'Parkashi Tomar'.

Apart from Taapsee and Bhumi, the film also stars Prakash Jha, Vineet Kumar Singh, Nikhat Khan, and Shaad Randhawa. The film is produced by Anurag Kashyap, Reliance Entertainment and Nidhi Parmar and will be released on October 25th.
