Sung by Shreya Ghoshal and choreographed by Brinda Master, the song holds a special place in Prachi's heart as she got to explore the hidden classical dancer in her while shooting for Mukkuthi. Sharing her experience, the leading actress of Mamangam says, `I shot the same song with Vishu Deva sir in the year 2018. Later, we shot it with Brinda master. And if you ask me, working with both of them was a sheer delight. They are immensely talented people and incredible professionals.`
Prachi feels overwhelmed about giving her best and impressing the dance masters with her hard work. `Being a non-dancer, it was extremely challenging to perform with perfection and win the heart of my masters. But nothing in this world feels better than knowing they loved your sincerity and dedication towards the art.`
'Mukkuthi' (which basically refers to a nose ring) is a very sensuous song, shot with a lot of colours and Dia lamps. Sets are extravagant and the visuals are extremely appealing.
Shot for 4 days in the hot weather of Kochi with so many jewelleries and heavy costumes on, Mukkuthi was no less than a battle for Prachi. `I saw myself being badly bruised, hands full of rashes and blood in the ears while shooting this song.`
But the team spirit and motivation by the masters helped her pull it off somehow.
