Bhram, an upcoming ZEE5 series is a psychological thriller starring Kalki Koechlin. The 8 episode series was extensively shot in Shimla and is now at the brink of release. The trailer got an applause from audiences across and Kalki's performance received much appreciation.

The director, Sangeeth Sivan has also been high on praise for Kalki and her commitment towards every shot. The talented actress, has impressed the director with her instinctiveness on sets. Kalki spent time reading the script and then discussing the scene every day before the shoot started. Thereon she instinctively reacted to the camera and transformed into Alisha!

Kalki insisted on spending atleast half an hour everyday before shoot to discuss the scene. It first started as a one-on-one discussion but in the following days the rest of the cast also joined in. This process made the shooting process easier as, everyone had more clarity and together they had a broader perspective of the scene.


As an actor Kalki mentally mapped the scene and then excelled in her rendition - on camera. The director was truly impressed with her commitment and how she delivered better than what he had envisioned.

Talking about the same, Director Sangeeth Sivan shared `Kalki is very instinctive and she exactly knows what is expected out of her in every scene. We spent time discussing the sequence and she would then improvise upon it. We shot the series during rains and it was a strenuous shoot. But Kalki, has zero qualms and delivered exactly what the script demanded or more.`

'Bhram', written by K Hari Kumar and directed by Sangeeth Sivan is set to premiere on 24th of October 2019 exclusively on ZEE5. Starring Kalki Koechlin along with Sanjay Suir, Bhumika Chawla, Eijaz Khan and Omkar Kapoor it is one of the most anticipated series of 2019.
