Humbled by the director's tweet Ajay also replied to return the favor by tweeting and showering praises on the Amit Sharma, Ajay wrote 'Amit, I like all the adjectives you've used to describe me and the Maidaan schedule. Maidaan is an upcoming Bollywood sports drama based on the life of the coach of the Indian national football team from 1950 until his death in 1963. Abdul's period as the coach of India's football team is regarded as the golden era of Indian football.
The film is directed by Amit Sharma and produced by Boney Kapoor. Maidaan stars Ajay Devgn and Keerthy Suresh in lead roles along with Gajraj Rao, Nitanshi Goel, Boman Irani and Johnny Lever in important roles. It will be released next year. Ajay will soon be seen in Om Raut's historical drama 'Tanhaji: The unsung warrior' which is set to release on January 10th next year.
