This is the first time Alia Bhatt will be seen in a Bhansali film which has got the fans on the ninth cloud. Sanjay Leela Bhansali, who is known for making his films on a grand scale, had just announced Gangubai Kathiawadi with Alia Bhatt and on Diwali, he gifted the fans with the announcement poster of his most ambitious project till date titled 'Baiju Bawra'
After Gangubai Kathiawadi, Bhansali will be starting 'Baiju Bawra'. The film will be the story of the famous singer of Emperor Akbar's court, 'Tansen' and Baiju Bawra, who set out to take revenge from Tansen and decided to defeat him in a singing duel. Bhansali Production announced the film on Diwali on Twitter -

The star cast of the film has not been announced yet but the news is that the film will be a remake of the 1952 film 'Baiju Bawra' that starred Meena Kumari and Bharat Bhushan in lead roles. Bhansali's Baiju Bawra will be released on Diwali 2021.
