Yes! Deepika reached 40 million or 4 crore followers on Instagram yesterday and with this achievement in her cap, she became the second Indian actress to achieve this feat. Prior to Deepika, it was Priyanka Chopra who became the first Bollywood actress to complete 40 million followers on Instagram. At present Priyanka has about 45.9 million i.e. 4.59 crore followers.

Deepika Padukone will soon be seen in Meghna Gulzar's upcoming drama film 'Chhapaak', where she will be seen essaying the role of real-life Acid Attack Survivor Laxmi Agarwal.

Vikrant Massey and Rohit Sukhwani will be seen opposite Deepika in the film. Chhapaak is produced by Fox Star Studios, Mriga Films, and KA Productions. It will be released on January 10th next year.
