Shweta Tripathi says, " the FCG recognizing web series as one of the primarily foams abhi it is true everybody it's been consumed from our mobile phones to our laptop screens to big tv's so I think a lot of good content has come above but as an artist specially this is what I can say for myself that there are so many stories I want to tell, so many characters I want to play and with every project we try to push boundaries and make something worthwhile. And obviously that risk involved and the kind of the characters you play they can toll on you because its very emotional job as well as psychological job so when that is recognized and that is appreciated it feels it makes you very very happy so and we need this because sometimes what happens is with fund of shows you might don't have the budget but then if you get an award ten there is publicity around there more than publicity there is just this validation and I think that validation feels good".
Earlier, actors Pankaj Tripathi, Maanvi Gagroo, and Sayani Gupta came forward and spoke about the move taken by FCG to add web series in their awards categories.
Actress Shweta Tripathi is best known for her character as Shaalu Gupta in 'Masaan', where the actress also won an award.. 'The Trip' as Ananya and how can we forget 'Golu Gupta' from Mirzapur.
