After delivering some hard-hitting and intriguing originals and content inspired by true incidents, ZEE5 is gearing up for another web series titled 'Chargesheet - The Shuttlecock Murder', for which the makers have roped in a talented bunch of actors.

Sikandar Kher portrays the role of Vidur Mehra, the officer leading the inquiry on one of the most prolific court cases in India investigated by the CBI.

`As an actor, I've always been attracted to characters that have a true connect to the past and as a viewer it's exciting to watch a good murder mystery show or film. The Shuttle Cock Murder is a rare show that gives me the best of both. The storyline had me hooked and I'm sure the viewers are going to love it. I'm happy to be an important part of this show and would like to thank Zee5, Ashoke Pandit and Roshan for wanting me for the part of Vidur Mehra` shares Sikandar.

The 8 episode series unveils the story of the greatest Indian badminton champion that could have been. The makers of the show recently released the first look of the show which has attracted tremendous curiosity amongst audiences, who are eager for further updates on a show that revolves around a high profile murder mystery. What makes it even more interesting is that this is inspired by true events.

Produced by Roshan Kanal and Ashoke Pandit, Daytee Pictures Pvt. Ltd, written by Priyanka Ghatak and Directed by Shashant Shah, the series stars Arunoday Singh, Tridha Choudhury, Shiv Panditt, Hrishitaa Bhatt, Ashwini Kalsekar, Zakir Hussain, Kishori Shahane, Shakti Anand and Sikandar Kher. The series is all set to release on ZEE5 on 10th December.
