Shah Rukh Khan made in his Bollywood debut with 'Deewana' in 1992 and went to become a superstar in no time with films like 'Darr' (1993), 'Baazigar' (1993) and Dilwale Dulhania Le Jaenge (1995). He is one of the only two actors of Bollywood to have won 8 Best Actor Filmfare Awards apart from Dilip Kumar.

He has been honored numerous awards including with Padma Shri by the Government of India (2005), The Chevalier of the Legion of Honour and The Officier of the Ordre des Arts et des Lettres by the Government of France.
