Instead, he is going ahead with another film that will star three heroes and three heroineswithout Ajay Devgan in the lead. The film will be an action comedy (tentatively titled No Problem) and will be shot on foreign locales in two or three schedules.
"I had signed Ajay for a love story to be produced by UTV. It was a solo hero project and the heroine was still to be decided. After No Entry, that was my immediate priority. But I cannot go ahead with that film since the script hasn't been completed yet.
UTV wants to start a film with me quickly, so we're working on No Problem first. I have informed Ajay about my change in plans."
There were reports that Bazmee's multi-starrer would star Ajay Devgan, Riteish Deshmukh and Nana Patekar which Bazmee denies saying "That's incorrect. Like I said, Ajay is not a part of this film.
Moreover, I haven't finalised the other two heroes. There is too much speculation in the industry these days. I need about 15 days more with the script. Thereafter, I will do the casting and make an announcement."
Will the film with Ajay happen in the future? Bazmee says, "Why not? That project is very close to my heart, but I cannot tell you for sure if Ajay will be there in it or not. That will depend on when I embark on that film and whether he can accommodate his dates.
Bazmee takes pains to stress that there isn't a rift between Ajay and him. "Ajay and I have known each other for 13 years now. We may not keep in touch regularly, but we still meet with the same warmth." Anees Bazmee's next film to hit the screen is Welcome, starring Feroz Khan, Anil Kapoor, Nana Patekar, Akshay Kumar, Paresh Rawal, Mallika Sherawat and Katrina Kaif.
