The teaser for Amazon Prime Video's inside Edge 2 was recently released and it is being loved by fans for it's gripping and intriguing content. The first season of Inside Edge received a tremendous response ever since it was released and has elevated the hype for season 2.

The makers shared a video on YouTube of Veteran Cricketer Virender Sehwag along with Gaurav Kapoor doing a recap of season 1. The cricketer shares, `I've binged watched the entire first season of Inside Edge and am a huge fan of the show! When I heard that the second season was releasing on the 6th of December, I knew that if given a chance I would want to be a part of it in some form, and this unique recap piece with Gaurav Kapoor was a fantastic way to do that. The new season looks very interesting and I can't wait to see the twists and turns come in the way of the Mumbai Mavericks and the Haryana Hurricanes!`



It is the first time in history that a real cricketer has shown this level of excitement for a show and it's amazing! After the trailer was released, the makers dropped the individual posters of the main cast and recently, the character posters for Vikrant and Bhaisaab were released, adding to the massive hype of the show. 

Joining the lead cast in Season 2 are Aamir Bashir, Sapna Pabbi, and Makarand Deshpande. The series returns with its stellar cast from Season 1, including Vivek Oberoi, Richa Chadda, Angad Bedi, Tanuj Virwani, Siddhant Chaturvedi, Amit Sial, and Sayani Gupta.

An International Emmy Awards nomination last year "Inside Edge", was definitely a game-changer portraying the story of Mumbai Mavericks, a T20 cricket franchise playing in the PowerPlay League. Inside Edge is a story that pulls no punches, minces no words, and takes no prisoners. Above all, Inside Edge Season 2 is a story of passion, courage, and love.   

Makers have been keeping the intrigue alive by not revealing much about the story. The second season is also produced by Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani under their banner Excel Entertainment and it will premiere on 6 December on Amazon Prime.
