The most awaited series of the year Inside Edge 2 is inching closer to its release and the excitement is on high ever since the announcement for the second season has happened.

The show is a perfect amalgamation of power, money, sportsmanship, & corruption all with double the smash. All the exhilaration among the fans has been increased and the stakes are high with season 2 

In an interview with a leading daily, Tanju Virwani spills some beans about his working birthday saying, `I will be in the Capital, promoting the second season of Inside Edge. The best way to celebrate the day is by being productive, and what better than promoting something I deeply believe in? It's something close to my heart`   

Further, he adds,`Web is not the future anymore, it's the present,` `Offers for actors are phenomenal. Sometimes, there are certain trappings when you are doing a movie. The format of the web is longer, more people are flocking to over-the-top platforms these days. As an actor, the end game is to do good work and be noticed by maximum people."

The first season received rave reviews from the audience as well as the critics where the show went on to get massive recognition by getting nominated for International Emmy Awards. Inside Edge was definitely a game-changer portraying the story of Mumbai Mavericks, a T20 cricket franchise playing in the PowerPlay League.

Joining the lead cast in Season 2 are Aamir Bashir, Sapna Pabbi, and Makarand Deshpande. The series returns with its stellar cast from Season 1, including Vivek Oberoi, Richa Chadda, Angad Bedi, Tanuj Virwani, Siddhant Chaturvedi, Amit Sial, and Sayani Gupta.

Makers have been keeping intrigue alive by not revealing much about the story. The second season is also produced by Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani under their banner Excel Entertainment and it will premiere on 6 December on Amazon Prime Video.
