OTT platforms are leaving no stone unturned by choosing crime thrillers as the genre to tap the Indian audiences with outlaws as protagonists.

Sacred Games, Mirzapur and Rangbaaz gained instant popularity and their respective platforms have built them as a franchise.

Sacred Games recently released its second season and ZEE5 will soon premiere Rangbaaz Phirse on 20th December followed by Mirzapur which is currently in the pipeline.

Rangbaaz is ZEE5's marquee show and the first season was a tremendous success - both critically acclaimed and from the viewers. Pushing the envelope further, ZEE5 is currently in the thick of promotions for Rangbaaz Phirse.

Rangbaaz Phirse is the story of a young guy who falls through the cracks because of politics and is robbed of his youth which subsequently ruins his life. It is about misguided manipulative youth. The nine-episode series highlights how an individual is not born as a criminal but becomes one because of the circumstances around him. #NotBornACriminal.
