Recently, one of the leading tracking portals released the report of the top 10 most liked Indian OTT shows of 2019 and to our surprise Manoj Bajpayee starrer 'The Family Man' topped the chart with Number 1.
Not only this, after the fans demanded for season 2, the makers surprised all the fans with an announcement of season two having the newest addition to the stellar cast South Superstar Samantha Akkineni begins shooting for the season two of The Family Man.

The makers and the star cast of The Family Man shared the news on their respected social media handles and welcomed the Samantha Akkineni for joining the talented star cast of Shri Manoj Bajpayee, National Award-winner Priyamani, along with incredible talent from across India, including Sharib Hashmi, Darshan Kumar, Sharad Kelkar, Sunny Hinduja, Shreya Dhanwantary, Shahab Ali, Vedant Sinha, and Mahek Thakur.
Even after the 70 days of release the show still holds high rating on IMDB with 8.7.
The show is created, directed and produced by Raj & DK, through their production company D2R Films, and written by Raj & DK and Suman Kumar. The first season was highly acclaimed by critics and audiences alike for its freshness, relevance, relatable characters and especially for blending an espionage thriller with humor and amazing family dynamics. The show started streaming live on 20th September 2019.
