Vijay Kumar Arora's Punjabi 'sports drama film 'Harjeeta' had won the Best Punjabi Film and the Best Child Actor award at the 2019 National Film Awards and recently the winners were honored by the Vice President of India, Honourable Shri. Venkaiah Naidu at the awards ceremony held in Delhi.

Jagdeep Sidhu, the writer of the film posted the picture of director Vijay Kumar Arora and Sameep Ranaut with their awards and congratulated them. Directed by Vijay Kumar Arora, 'Harjeeta' was produced by Nick Bahl, Munish Sahni, Bhushan Chopra, and Bhagwant Virk. The film starred Ammy Virk, Sameep Ranaut, Pankaj Tripathi, Sawan Rupowali, Raj Jhinger, Gurpreet Bhangu, Parkash Gadu, Sukhi Chahal, Jarnail Singh, Pukhraj Bhalla, and Amberdeep Singh.
