According to reports, when Shahid was practicing his shots, the ball hit him on the lower lip which resulted in a cut and the actor was rushed for the treatment where he got around 13 stitches. Now the actor has to take a break from the schedule till the swelling subsides and his wound is healed completely.
Shahid took to social media and thanked his fans for their concern. Shahid wrote, "Thank you for all the concern. Yes I have got a few stitches but am recovering fast. #jersey has taken a little bit of my blood but a script this good deserves that in the least. Have a good one you all. Keep it real. Make it count. Spread the love. Humanity above all."
