Sara Ali Khan is gearing up for her upcoming next which is helmed by Imtiaz Ali and is all set to release on Valentine's day 2020. Sara is the only actress from her generation to have had the opportunity to work with Imtiaz Ali so early in her career.

Every actress in the industry wishes to work with Imtiaz Ali at least once in their career and Sara's third movie will be with the director. Here's four of Imtiaz Ali's most iconic female characters with Sara being the latest!

1) Kareena Kapoor in Jab We Met - The film tells the story of a feisty Punjabi girl who is sent off track when she bumps into a depressed Mumbai businessman. Geet from Jab We Met, a bubbly talkative Sikh girl character who loved her life as much as she loved her self (Released in 2007)

2) Alia Bhatt in Highway - Veera Tripathi (Alia Bhatt) is the daughter of a rich Delhi-based business tycoon get kidnapped one day before her wedding, (Released in 2014) 

3) Deepika Padukone in Tamasha - Filmed briefly in Corsica the film talks about the love story of Tara and Ved. Tara was a smart, independent woman, who took life as it came. Released in 2015

4) Sara Ali Khan in Love Aaj Kal - slated to release on Valentine's Day 2020 Sara Ali Khan represents the gen-next and is the perfect representation of what love is today which makes her totally fit for the film. The story will not only have direction by the man who has the most interesting take on romance but Imtiaz will also be directing someone who represents the youth in a film, about the youth with a fresh take on love.  

On the work front, Sara will next be seen in Imtiaz Ali's directorial opposite Kartik Aryan and Coolie No 1 opposite Varun Dhawan directed by David Dhawan.

Sara is currently the most anticipated actress in B-Town. The actress has won several accolades for her stellar debut with Kedarnath which was immediately followed by Simmba which went on to become a box office hit and now the audience can't wait to see the actress in her upcoming next.
