It was indeed a special affair for the entire team of Shikara as the special screening of the film saw a great attendance of real-life Kashmiri Pandits. To make the evening even more special, the lead pair of Shikara, Aadil Khan and Sadia marked their attendance along with the captain of the ship, Vidhu Vinod Chopra.


The crowd was overjoyed after seeing the film as they all showered praises after the special screening. The lead pair Aadil Khan and Sadia along with the director Vidhu Vinod Chopra also interacted with the real-life Kashmiri Pandits who flew down to watch the film. Present at the event were also Vidhu Vinod Chopra, Vijay Singh of Fox Studios, Abhijat Joshi and lyricist Irshad Kamil.


Recently, a special screening was also held in New Delhi for real-life Kashmiri Pandit where the makers showcased '30 minutes' from the movie.


Ever since the release of the first trailer, the curiosity factor has been on an all-time high with the subject and storyline that 'Shikara' holds. Recently, the makers also released the second trailer of the film and both the trailers have been widely appreciated for its storyline and the gut-wrenching pages from the books of history.


Vidhu Vinod Chopra and Rahul Pandita recently also attended the coveted Jaipur Literature Festival 2020 and was part of a special panel discussion at the event. Talking about the whole subject, the director also expressed his hope to open a film school in Kashmir.
