Mahima Chaudhary has sorted out the mess that was created by her run-in with the producers. She is understandably happy. She has signed another film with Sanjay Dutt though this time she plays his sister and has Chandrachur Singh as her leading man. In yet another film, on Govinda`s recommendation, she was cast in a parallel role along with Raveena Tandon.

But Mahima knows rather well what her parallel role would finally shape into. Is she happy playing second fiddle to her contemporaries? "At least credit me with some talent to play the second lead yaar," she laughed. "While most actresses vanish into thin air after one or two flops, I am lucky enough to get a call from a producers every day of the week. So what if the roles offered are not lead roles."

All those who have seen some portions of Kundan Shah`s forthcoming film, Dil Hai Tumhara, in which Preity Zinta has the author-backed role, were in a for a pleasant surprise to find Mahima holding her own. Great going, Mahima!
