Directed by Milan Luthria, director of Taxi no. 9211 fame, the film is scheduled to hit the silver screen soon. Recently, we had a talk with Rimi Sen and she reveals a lot. In fact she conceals even more!
Q: Why is the movie titled Hattrick?
A: It is called Hattrick .... But I can't tell you the reason why?
Q: Tell us something about your character in the movie.
A: My character... well, I'm playing a cool Dhoni fan and Kunal's wife in the film. I'm in love with Dhoni like crazy. This makes Kunal worried and tensed and he says, 'Shit meri wife ko kya ho gaya, ye kaise behave kar rahi hai (Shit, what has happened to my wife and why is she behaving like this)"?
Q: Are you a Dhoni fan in real life too?
A: No, I don't watch cricket. I'm not a cricket fan. If I like any cricketer then it has to be Sachin Tendulkar.
Q: Yet another comedy? Is there any particular reason for this?
A: Yes, yet another comedy. I think I love doing comedy films and I'm very comfortable doing them. I have learnt a lot from Hangama, my first comedy film and Priyadarshan, who is the comedy king. This is my fourth or fifth comedy film with Paresh Rawal, so I'm pretty excited about this film.
Q: Why does the promo on air say stumped between you and Kunal?
A: That's the reason behind the name Hattrick, which I won't tell you. You journalists.........they all will kill me if I do.
Q: Since you are starring in a cricket themed film, what are your expectations from the ICC Cricket World Cup?
A: From World Cup? As an Indian there are a lot of expectations. I wish that India wins.
Q: What are your expectations from Hattrick?
A: I have a lot of expectations from this film Hattrick because I have got a very nice character and I'm very excited about my character. I am also very excited about the fact that I'm working with Milan Luthria, Nana Patekar, Kunal Kapoor, Pareshji and Danny Sir. I think.... I'm very lucky.
Q: You were the only one out of the all other actors in the film who could dance. So how was the experience?
A: It was hilarious. Nana has got a unique style. When he dances nobody else looks at anybody else. We all only looked at Nana Sir. It was a very nice experience, we had great fun.
Q: What do you have to say about the music of the movie?
A: The music is really good because all the tracks are different from each other. Pritam has done a brilliant job in this film.
Q: Which is you favourite song from the film?
A: My favorite song is Rabba Khair Kare and Pareshji's song I'm Coming Home. I'm also fond of Nanaji's song.- Mili K (SAMPURN)
