Taapsee roped in for Sony's thriller-comedy film 'Loop Lapeta'

With films like 'Pink', 'Badla', and 'Saand Ki Aankh' to her credit Taapsee Pannu has become a name to be reckoned. The 'Manmarziyan' actress has become one of the most sought after actresses of Bollywood having much-anticipated films like 'Thappad', 'Rashmi Rocket' and 'Haseen Dilruba' in her kitty and now, there is another great news coming in for her fans.

Yep, Taapsee Pannu has been roped in for Sony Pictures` upcoming film titled Loop Lapeta. It will be a new-age comedy-thriller film starring Taapsee Pannu and Tahir Raj Bhasin Directed by Aakash Bhatia who is known for directing many episodes of the critically acclaimed web series 'Inside Edge. Loop Lapeta will be the official Hindi remake of the 1998 German thriller film 'Run Lola Run' as announced by the producer of the film Tanuj Garg on Twitter. Check it out -

Loop Lapeta will be produced by Sony Pictures Films India, Tanuj Garg, Atul Kasbekar, and Aayush Maheshwari and it is scheduled to release on January 29th, 2021. Taapsee's upcoming film is Anubhav Sinha's social-drama film 'Thappad' starring Pavail Gulati opposite her in the lead role along with Ratna Pathak Shah, Tanvi Azmi, Dia Mirza, Ram Kapoor, Kumud Mishra, Nidhi Uttam, Manav Kaul, and many others. It will release on February 28th, 2020.
