It wasn't enough for Ayushmann Khurrana starrer 'Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan' to dominate the box office on its opening day, now it has managed to turn some heads internationally. British LGBTQ+ activist Peter Tatchell had tweeted on February 20 about the film and that it is in wake of the decriminalisation of homosexuality. And it was retweeted by none other than the man occupying the White House.

The U.S. President Donald J. Trump commented on and retweeted LGBTQ+ activist Peter Tachell's post on the Bollywood film.

The U.S. President Donald J. Trump lauded the Bollywood gay romantic comedy Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan on Friday, the very day of its release. British human rights campaigner and LGBTQ+ activist Peter Tatchell had tweeted that the film hopes to win over older people with a gay romantic-comedy in the wake of the scrapping of section 377, that decriminalised homosexuality.

Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan is a social comedy film written and directed by Hitesh Kewalya and produced by T-Series and Colour Yellow Productions. It stars Ayushmann Khurrana, Jitendra Kumar, Neena Gupta, Gajraj Rao, Sunita Rajwar, Pankhuri Awasthy and Bhumi Pednekar in a cameo. The film released on February 21.
