Alia Bhatt to star in Hindi Medium fame Saket Chaudhary's next?

After directing the Irrfan Khan-starrer 'Hindi Medium', Saket Chaudhary is working on his next social - drama laced with humor & a message. The director is interested in roping the Raazi actress 'Alia Bhatt' for his next untitled project. Alia Bhatt is one of the busiest Bollywood celebrities. The actress is already loaded with the film projects and the latest reports suggest that she is gearing up to sign this Saket Chaudhary film.

According to a Mumbai Mirror report, Alia has already read the script and given her nod. She will soon sign the contract on the dotted line. A source close to the development stated that film is set in the Indian Heartland. Saket was keen on casting Alia in this project, meanwhile, the hunt for the leading man is still on. The film will be produced by Sajid Nadiadwala and will make Alia's fourth collaboration with him after Highway (2014), 2states (2014) and Kalank (2019). Once the cast is locked, the makers plan to announce the film.

On the other hand, Alia Bhatt has her hands full of movies. She has two releases this year. She will be soon seen in Ayan Mukerji's 'Brahmastra' along with Ranbir Kapoor, Amitabh Bachan, Mouni Roy & Nagarjuna releasing on 4th December 2020. She is currently shooting for Sanjay Leela Bhansali's 'Gangubai Kathiwadi' where she will be reuniting with her Gully Boy co-star Vijay Raaz and will be seen with Shantanu Maheshwari for the first time.
