ZEE5's upcoming show State of Siege: 26/11 is one of the most awaited OTT shows owing to the intense storyline that is inspired by true events. The show is based on the bestseller 'Black Tornado: The Three Sieges of Mumbai 26/11' written by Author Sandeep Unnithan.

In a ZEE5 exclusive fireside chat recently, Sandeep shared what inspired him to write this book, `The lessons drawn from the 26/11 terror attack should never be forgotten.` He further adds, `ZEE5's State of Siege: 26/11 is as real and authentic as it can get.`

"My attempt was to take the reader into these locations and tell them the untold stories. The makers of the web series have ensured that they maintain every level of authenticity. They invited Lt. Colonel Sundeep Sen who was the 2nd in command of the NSG and led the operation at The Chabad House as an advisor / consultant and it cannot get more real than that", he adds.

The series unravels the untold stories and is a true to account narrative of the various events that turned into the prolonged terror siege of Mumbai on 26th November 2008.

State of Siege: 26/11 stars Arjan Bajwa, Arjun Bijlani, Vivek Dahiya, Mukul Dev and other talented actors and is produced by Abhimanyu Singh of Contiloe Pictures. The show is all set to premiere on 20th March 2020.
