After the 2019 blockbuster film Chal Mera Putt, director Janjot Singh brings its sequel Chal Mera Putt 2 which takes the journey of favourite lads further ahead so let's see if this journey is as great as the previous one or not.

Chal Mera Putt 2 is the direct sequel of the previous film. Jinder (Amrinder Gill) and his mates are still struggling to make the ends meet and send home whatever they can save also trying to get the PR of UK. But our guys don't lose hope and continue to go through all the hurdles happily. But then a tragedy hits them all as their house owner comes back and warns them about paying the rent or else they'll be thrown out.

This leaves them worried and begins their struggle to arrange the money for the rent so that they don't lose their shelter. On the other hand, JInder's love interest Savvy (Simi Chahal) is getting her marriage fixed by her parents and the boy is Deepa (Garry Sandhu). What turn Jinder and Savvy's love story takes after this, do our boys manage to pay the rent and get the PR this time or not forms the rest of the story.

Looks like director Janjot Singh has done a quite a good job maintaining the flavour of the previous film and delivering another comic entertainer once again. His film is a sure-shot delight to watch that makes you laugh and cry balancing the drama and emotional quotient at the same time. The one thing that stands out is the dialogues that are just hilarious and keep the screenplay alive and peppy. Though the scenario and the situations remain pretty much the same as Chal Mera Putt, the film never fails to entertain you.

On the performance front, every actor is just a treat to watch here and their performances are so good that you can't decide who the film actually belongs to. Amrinder Gill proves his versatility once again and his timings be it comic or dramatic leaves you praising the guy in every frame.

Simi Chahal presents her character with grace and heft and Garry Sandhu's cameo is enjoyable too. Nasir Chinyoti, Gurshabad Singh, Iftikhar Thakur, Hardeep Gill, Akram Udas are top-notch in their respective characters too. Dr Zeus's music does total justice to the story and adds to the feel.

Overall, Chal Mera Putt 2 is one of the best sequels we have seen in Punjabi film industry so far. The direction, acting, story and dialogues everything is pure entertainment. It is a ride full of comedy, drama, great performances and some more comedy that makes up for the perfect sequel to Chal Mera Putt. Watch this one with your family.
