Anupama Chopra recommends Diljit's 'Punjab 1984' in quarantine, actor thanks her
Many actors from the Punjabi film industry have made their foray into Bollywood but few succeeded to leave their mark on the industry. Here are the few Punjabi stars who became popular for their work in Bollywood and Diljit Dosanjh is one of them. Amid lockdown, people have nothing to do rather than watching films and series and to Diljit's surprise popular film critic Anupama Chopra recently suggested audience to watch his film Punjab 1984.

Diljit made his debut in Bollywood with Anurag Kashyap's Udta Punjab. After Udta Punjab, Diljit was seen alongside Anushka Sharma in Phillauri, followed by Welcome To New York and Good Newwz. The actor was gearing up for his next comedy entertainer, Suraj Pe Mangal Bhaari before the lockdown with Fatima Sana Shaikh and Manoj Bajpayee. The film is helmed by Abhishek Sharma.
