Actress Bhagyashree, who stepped into Bollywood with the blockbuster film 'Maine Pyar Kiya' opposite Salman Khan in 1989, is one of the few actresses whose fan following is still intact even after staying away from the Hindi films for almost 14 years. Bhagyashree's last Hindi film was Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif starrer 'Humko Deewana Kar Gaye' back in 2006. But now, finally, there is good news for her fans as she is going to make a comeback to Hindi cinema with Kangana Ranaut's 'Thalaivi'.
Yes, Bhagyashree recently spilled the beans on this to the fans through a live Instagram session. She said "I started shooting (Thalaivi) for this film in September 2019. I am working in this film, the producers were going to announce this in April but then the lockdown happened. Now I have got the green signal to share this news with the fans. I am playing a strong character in this film. Kangana and I will be sharing the screen in many scenes together. I am happy to be coming back to the silver screen after a long time."
Thalaivi, directed by A.L Vijay, is a biopic based on the life of late Jayalalithaa, yesteryear actress & the former CM of the state of Tamil Nadu. Along with Kangana Ranaut, Arvind Swamy, Prakash Raj, Jisshu Sengupta, Poorna, Madhoo, Samuthirakani will also be seen in important roles in Thalaivi. The film is all set to be released on 26th June. Apart from Thalaivi, Bhagyashree will also be seen in Prabhas and Pooja Hegde starrer Radha Krishna Kumar's upcoming romantic film 'Jaan'.
